We are delighted to be bringing our innovative prepreg materials and new adhesives and primer films to the show this year.

After an exciting 2 years of introducing class-leading prepreg products to the market, our team are thrilled to be showcasing a new suite of primer and adhesive films, including the new RFA570 eXpress cure. RFA570 is a fast-curing epoxy film adhesive, designed to provide structural bonds in honeycomb and composite bonding applications, with a 4 minute cure at 140°C.

The team are also celebrating Q.tool prepreg tooling technology, which has recently been awarded a UK Patent. The UK Intellectual Property Office has issued the patent grant for the prepreg’s unique design, confirming our assertion that Q.tool is an original, distinct and innovative technology in tooling prepreg. Offering a faster option to the traditional 1:8:1 tooling, Q.tool’s unique prepreg fabric architecture produces a highly drapeable material, excellent surface finish and typically provides a saving of 50% of the layup time of a conventional 1:8:1 system, with debulks reduced to as few as one.

We will also have aerospace components on display constructed using their RP570 FR eXpress cure epoxy prepreg system. Formulated for structural components requiring FST properties, RP570 FR is a fire-retardant ultra-fast prepreg system which is cured and demouldable after 5 minutes at 160°C. The system has excellent surface finish – which can be seen from the parts on display. RP570 FR is tested to Federal Aviation Requirements 25.853 Appendix F Part 1, AITM 2.0007 and 3.0005, UL94 V1 and FMVS Standard No.302.
